ABC works diligently to provide services and respond to the needs of our members. Through our efforts, we hope not only to help our members build companies, but also better lives. Below is a recap of events that have taken place this year.
- Interactive seminars with free legal counsel held on Union Organizing, How to Get Paid, Mechanics' Lien Law, How to Defend and Unemployment Claim, How to Become Bonded, Prevailing Wage and Preventative Labor Relations
- Partnered with the Central Pennsylvania Workforce Investment Board to receive grant funded training on Construction Supervisory Training, Improving Construction Productivity, How to Coach Employees to Maximum Achievement, and How & Why Successful Companies Foster a Safety Culture
- Workshops held on Basic & Advanced Blueprint Reading and Construction Math
- Onsite First Aid and CPR Training
- Certified OSHA 10 & 30 Hour seminars
- Experience MOD & OSHA 300 workshops
- Registered apprenticeship program with the Department of Labor.
- Employee craft trade assessments
- Partnered with OSHA in conjunction with ABC's Safety Training & Evaluation Process (STEP) Program
- Annual Safety Expo held in January
- Chapter PAC Event & Sporting Clay Shoot held at Shenecoy Sportsman Club to provide support for legislators who support our issues.
- ABC PAC continues to rank among the top 40 influential organizations by Fortune magazine.
- Meeting with local legislators to discuss member issues.
- Five lobbyists in Washington, D.C. and one in Harrisburg fighting for our issues
- Attended Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. and met with Representatives

Annual Golf Tournament held in August at the State College Elks Club
