Board Development Committee

The board development committee oversees the identification, recruitment, orientation, training and retention of board members. This committee looks for opportunities to strengthen and evolve the board's effectiveness, capacity, compositions, and ability to lead the organization into the future.

Education Committee

The purpose of this committee is to actively strengthen the training and educational opportunities for all Chapter members. It is critical to the committee that quality training be made available. The committee is currently working to bring you NCCER craft training that will strengthen the skills and abilities of your employees, in turn, building a stronger workforce for the industry. In order to provide craft training, the Chapter is currently seeking Journeymen level instructors in the carpentry trade.

Finance Committee

The finance committee provides financial oversight for the organization. Tasks include budgeting and financial planning, financial reporting, and the creation and monitoring of internal controls and account-ability policies. The committee also sets long-range financial goals along with funding strategies to achieve them. They present all financial goals and proposals to the Board of Directors for approval.

Membership Committee

The membership committee is responsible for identifying and pursuing new membership growth opportunities, as well as assisting in the recruitment process. As part of the retention process, this committee will actively engage ABC, Central PA Chapter members, help them to feel connected, encourage involvement, and strengthen their membership value. Additionally, the membership committee will promote the Beam Club.
